2. Epic hero - character, doings, background. Meaning of the life for medieval hero. Death of hero after the most greatest battle of his life.
Beowulf as the exemplary epic hero.
3. Modern hero - character, background, ways of action. Secret life in the society. Thin line in between hero and monster, constant battle with himself as with villains. From monsters to heroes (do i need this one?)

4. Differences and similarities of this two types of hero. How modern view changed the concept of heroism.

5. Conclusion. Hero, as much as he has changed through the ages, is still someone who is seen as a defender of people or human race, who brings the order in the human society.
